    Description

    You are bidding on a WWII Polish Glider Badge with wreath.
    The badge is used and is in good condition with some signs of wear and age.
    The reverse side is marked “Firmin” for Firmin & Sons of
    London
    , and has a screwback fastener that is in good working order. The Polish Glider badge was worn by glider trained soldiers of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade that was formed in 1941 and trained in Ringway,
    Manchester
    and in
    Upper Largo
    Scotland
    . The wreath indicates combat service and was added post Operation Market-Garden.
