This is definitely an unusual combination for a time recorder mechanism.
Here is why:
1)  The beautiful oak case is labeled International Time Recorder and that
refers to, what is known today as, IBM Endicott, NY.
2)  The working electric clock is marked Central Time Clock Co. NYC
3)  The actual time stamper mechanism is missing from the case.
We have had several appraisers and individuals (who are our relatives)
and worked for IBM Endicott NY do some research and they could not
find any information on whether IBM and Central Time Clock worked
in unison to make this hybrid.
We are selling this as a working electric wall clock that has the history
of 2 major companies...and NOT as a time recorder.
