Schlage HandPunch 2000 recognition system comes standard with RS232 connectivity, allowing for quick integration into your existing network infrastructure and time management systems. As an additional option you can upgrade to Ethernet (TCP/IP) as well.
Hand Geometry Technology
With proven biometric technology for hand geometry, the 2000 time clock from Schlage, captures an image of the hand each time an employee clocks-in or clocks-out. The hands shape and size is used to verify their identity with amazing accuracy. No palm prints or fingerprints are utilized. The technology works well in harsh environments as well as indoors.
Programmable Data Management Keys
The HandPunch 2000 comes with two user defined data management keys that allows you to collect data as staff clocks-in or clocks-out. Common uses for this time clock include: Department Transfers, Tips Collected, Pay and Job Codes.
Antimicrobial Protection
Biometric hand readers come with a silver based anti-microbial agent which is integrated into the materials used to replicate the platen. This provides a finish that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi. This remains active for the life of the HandPunch device.
Hand Outline
The HandPunch 2000 includes a blue outline of a hand printed on the platen.  This hand outlines is provided to assist new users in placing their hand accurately on the clocks platform thus decreasing initial enrollment time and better  enrollment quality.
