    Polish Internees in Switzerland Medal, silver medal awarded for Polish troops who were interned in Switzerland. Obverse of the medal has profile of Bronislaw Prugar-Ketling and NOEL DES INTERNES EN SUISSE 1942. Reverse of the medal has Polish eagle to the centre and BOZE NARODZENIE W SZWAJCARDII DSP. Medal is missing ribbon The Polish Army in France served with distinction during the fall of France campaign. A large section of Polish troops were surrounded by German forces but managed to break through to neutral Switzerland where the men were interned for the duration of the War. Many men however escaped and managed to join up with the Free Polish forces in France and later United Kingdom. Poor condition. See pictures.
