HISTORY:
We grabbed 100 posters, quite a few boxes of
these HANG TAGS - HERS AND HIS...AND 10
boxes OF
BEATLES silk clothing labels back
in 1980 from a shirt and clothing manufacturer that
was going out of business. Their names were Harold
and George and they were from Australia originally.
They were near retiring age, had made a fortune on
Beatle clothing wear in the 60's. We purchased a ton
of clothing hang tags, the only huge Beatle Posters
they had (100) -which were used by the department stores
on the walls to advertise the Beatle clothing during
the 60's-  and quite a few beautiful boxes of
Beatles
SILK CLOTHING LABELS which were
sewn inside the garments that were being
shipped out to places like Neiman Marcus, May Co.,
Saks Fifth Ave. and many more.

A LIMITED QUANTITY LEFT!
Anyhow, these two brothers became
very wealthy (much thanks to the Beatles) but by time
we came along in 1980, the Beatles were an old
fad (pre-John Lennon's horrible death) and
Harold & George were selling Western
shirts (with pearl snaps). We were in the surplus
biz and found them in the Los Angeles Times
classified section...
announcing their garment
sweat shop was closing and they were going
the Tahiti way! They were still really rich, BTW!

Take a good look at our pictures,
as these hang tags have been stored in a box
in a dark closet. They have slightly developed
a curve over the years but we set aside one
of the hang tags and placed weight on the card stock
overnight and wah lah! Back straight again! We
hung it on our office wall! We love the Beatles too!
There might be very slight teeny tiny wear on edges
but we do not notice much - see photos. THESE
BOY HANG TAGS ARE A BIT MORE SHELF WORN THAN
THE GIRLS - which makes sense as boys are much
harder on clothes and HANG TAGS...LOL...
Also, the
back of card stock on these has smudging, age yellowing,
dusty LIGHT stains WHERE white back was exposed
to light and dust... a FEW BLIPS AND BLEEPS ON BACK.
The fronts look great but we did picture a few
tags that had a bit more rough edges than most so that
you will not be misled. There is NO RETURN on these!
Please take into consideration that all are in very
appropriate condition for age in cold storage but
never been sold or hung!
