The KMS series links two worlds: it makes the delicate, silky condenser sound suitable for the stage in a sturdy package. While live microphones usually operate with dynamic capsules, we designed the KMS series as 'studio sound for the stage'. That’s why we chose condenser capsules. Due to their construction they capture the voice more vividly, with greater detail and a wider frequency response. This uncolored high definition sound doesn’t only convince on stage, it also delivers reference class sound in the home studio for vocals, acoustic guitars, and brass instruments with superior elegance and transparency.
High acoustic resolution and smooth frequency response of the microphones ensure that the musician has optimal control of the stage performance at all times.

Carefully adjusted acoustic filters and transformerless impedance converters that can handle very high sound pressure levels prevent the microphones from being overloaded even by strong plosive sounds.
Invariable, built-in high-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 120 Hz (–3 dB, measured in a free sound field) and maximum sound pressure level of the KMS microphones is 150 dB.
Low self-noise level of only 18 dB A permits the microphones to be used at high gain levels without the risk of additional noise. Even at large distances, the microphones thus operate with a high signal-to-noise ratio, facilitating the freedom of movement and creativity that are important to the artist.

Return Policy
Refunds are issued within 30 days of the date the customer's order is received. Merchandise and packaging MUST be in the same condition as when received. Items may be subject to a restocking fee up to 20%. Alto Music reserves the right to refuse any return if it appears the item has been used. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the customer's order included free shipping, the customer will be refunded order amount, less Alto Music's original shipping cost.
