  • Condition: This ELECTRO-VOICE Slimair Model 616 microphone was in excellent condition when we last used it -- which was over thirty years ago. It has been stored carefully in climate controlled conditions and recently was tested and found working well; there is no reason to questions its functionality. Cosmetically it is in beautiful condition. The same is true of the metal 2-part desk stand that it comes with, also an Electro-Voice product - Model 423-A. In addition, it comes with the 4-prong cable that was purchased with it; it is 20 feet long.

    Description

    The seller of this microphone was a singer in the 1960s.  The owner is currently selling all electrical items from that period.
    This microphone had little use and is in good working condition as well as cosmetic condition.  It is being sold with: 1) an Electro-Voice metal desk/table stand that has a 5" post that screws into a 5" diameter circular base, and 2) it also comes with a 20-foot four-prong cable attachment that has a phono jack at the other end.
    The microphone has its (metal plate) label where the on/off button is, just below the cylindrical body of the microphone where it meets the base that screws onto the upright pole of the stand. (please see photos). The plate/label says that this is an Electra-Voice Slimair, Model 616, Dynamic microphone.  Its serial number is stamped on it: B83897.
