Description

Custom name strip similar to the BOY SCOUTS of AMERICA program strip over the pocket. Distinctive insignia for your field uniform, patch vest, patch blanket, scrap book or backpack. The size of the stitching is similar to the program strip; 12 mm or ~ 3/8 inch. The field is limited to 4 inches, approximately 14 to 16 characters, including spaces. If you have an unusually long name, I can put it on two lines. The standard is to use ALL CAPITOL LETTERS, however I can use Mixed Case lettering if you prefer. The font is the block style of the BSA program strip.
The patch is embroidered on fabric, with no edge. The buyer will need to iron and fold the patch to size, then sew in place, similar to the cut-edge patches of the early days. These are intended only for adult uniforms. It is against the guide for safe Scouting to put a name on a youth's uniform.
I used to run a uniform bank, and have some official uniform shirts that were not fit for wear, so I salvaged the material and can create name strips on the fabric. I can embroider the names on twill (like the shirt) material, or on felt.

As these are custom-embroidered, I cannot take returns, however if you are not satisfied, I can re-stitch the strip for you.
Production time is three days, it will be mailed to buyer as expediently as possible. I can offer a discount on additional patches of the same design, each design is considered an original at full cost, subsequent stitching of the same patch are 15% discount for the second, 20% discount for the third, and 25% discount for any additional patches.
USPS has been uncharacteristically slow, it may take up to two weeks to arrive, please be patient. The package weighs one ounce, shipped USPS in an envelope. First patch postage is 1.00, additional patches in same order at no additional postage cost.
