HISTORY:
We grabbed 100 posters and 10 boxes of 600 pcs.
housing these rare BEATLES silk clothing labels back
in 1980 from a shirt and clothing manufacturer that
was going out of business. Their names were Harold
and George and they were from Australia originally.
They were near retiring age, had made a fortune on
Beatle clothing wear in the 60's. We purchased a ton
of clothing hang tags, the only huge Beatle Posters
they had (100) -which were used by the department stores
on the walls to advertise the Beatle clothing during
the 60's-  and these beautiful boxes of
Beatles
SILK CLOTHING LABELS which were
sewn inside the garments that were being
shipped out to places like Neiman Marcus, May Co.,
Saks Fifth Ave. and many more.
These two brothers became
very wealthy (much thanks to the Beatles) but by time
we came along in 1980, the Beatles were an old
fad (pre-John Lennon's horrible death) and
Harold & George were selling Western
shirts (with pearl snaps). We were in the surplus
biz and found them in the Los Angeles Times
classified section...
announcing their garment
sweat shop was closing and they were going
the Tahiti way! They were still really rich, BTW!
So...as we were digging around in SKYE's warehouse,
we uncovered the last of our Beatles silk labels...
the very last box of labels we have left
(out of 6000 labels that we originally purchased
in 1980)!
Here up for offer is one label (unless you would like
to purchase more than one (1)?) from the last of
our original boxes (from 1966)
which has 170 labels left inside.
