1795 Great Britain Conder Token
Listed in Dalton and Hamer as Warwickshire, Birmingham D&H 58 this remarkable 1/2 penny 1795 specimen is extremely well preserved! State of the art die cutting for the day, this almost 230 year old token is amazingly preserved!
Listed as RARE in Dalton and Hamer, which suggests that less than 75 were minted. Not often available! …and yes, your eyes do not deceive you, the crest consists of 4 hedgehogs! I think the technical numismatic term for that is ‘awesome’🤣
The edge of the token is stamped with ‘Payable in London’ with some additional engrailment. I tried to take a photo of that, but my photography skills just aren’t that good. You’ll have to trust me with that, but if you don’t like it, I offer 6O day free returns, no questions asked👍
